Privacy and KVKK disclosure notice

Data controller

Under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), the data controller is KNCad. For questions about this notice or to exercise your rights, write to info@kncad.com.tr.

What data we process

• Contact form: full name, company, email address, phone number, the topic you choose, your message, the language of the page you sent it from, and your confirmation that you have read this notice.
• Form security: the IP address you sent the form from and the time of sending. The IP address is included in the email we receive to prevent abuse, and a short-lived record is kept on the server to limit repeated submissions from the same address.
• Server logs: standard access logs kept by our hosting service (IP address, browser information, requested page, time of visit).
• Visit statistics: cookieless Matomo records with shortened IP addresses and, only if you consent, Google Analytics data (details below).
• Preferences in your browser: your cookie choice and the site language you select are stored in your browser’s local storage (localStorage). This information is not sent to us and is not linked to your identity.

Purposes of processing and legal grounds

• Answering your demo, license, quote and support requests: necessary for entering into or performing a contract (KVKK Art. 5/2-c).
• Keeping the website and the form secure and preventing abuse: legitimate interest of the data controller (KVKK Art. 5/2-f).
• Cookieless visit statistics (Matomo): legitimate interest in improving the website (KVKK Art. 5/2-f).
• Google Analytics statistics cookies: only your explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5/1).

Transfer

Your personal data is not sold, rented out or shared for advertising. It is shared with the following service providers only to the extent needed to answer your request and run the website:

• Hosting and email: the website, the contact form and the info@kncad.com.tr mailbox run on Hostinger’s infrastructure, whose servers may be located outside Türkiye.
• Google Analytics: only if you consent; the data is processed by Google and may be stored on servers outside Türkiye. This transfer is based on your explicit consent.
• three.js library: the 3D scene on the home page is loaded from cdnjs (Cloudflare) once you interact with the page; your browser then sends a standard connection request (IP address and browser information) to Cloudflare’s servers.

Where required by law, data may be shared with competent public authorities.

Retention period

Form messages are kept in our mailbox until your request is resolved and for as long as any resulting business relationship continues, or for longer where a legal retention period applies. Server logs and statistics are kept only as long as their purpose requires. After that, the data is deleted, destroyed or anonymized.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising cookies. Only if you give your consent do we use Google Analytics statistics cookies to understand how the site is used. Google Analytics data is processed by Google LLC and may be stored on servers abroad; your IP address is processed in truncated form. If you do not give consent, Google Analytics is not loaded at all. You can change your preference here at any time.

Fonts are served from our own server; the site does not use external font services such as Google Fonts.

Visit statistics

To understand which pages of the site are visited and how often, we use the open-source Matomo software running on our own server. On this site, Matomo runs without cookies; the last two segments of your IP address are deleted before recording, so your visit cannot be linked to your identity. The information collected (pages visited, approximate location, referring site, device and browser type) is used solely for statistical purposes, is not shared with third parties, and your data is not transferred abroad. If your browser's "Do Not Track" setting is enabled, your visit is not recorded at all.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of KVKK, you have the right to:

• learn whether your personal data is processed;
• request information about the processing if it is;
• learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data is used accordingly;
• know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom the data is transferred;
• request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data;
• request deletion or destruction under the conditions of Article 7 of KVKK;
• request that corrections, deletion or destruction be notified to third parties to whom the data was transferred;
• object to a result against you arising solely from automated analysis;
• claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.

You can send your requests by email to info@kncad.com.tr. Requests are answered free of charge within thirty days at the latest, depending on their nature. If you are not satisfied with the answer, you can lodge a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board (KVKK Kurulu).
